概要	...These results indicate that GAD2 neurons in the lateral preoptic hypothalamus have a wake-promoting role during both sleep and Dex-induced sedation. Intriguingly, depth of sedation reflected in elevated threshold for awakening was not associated with the degree of hypothermia, suggesting that reduced metabolism is not incompatible with behavioural wakefulness and arousal.
