概要 | By combining the two concepts of superlattices and organic amorphous materials, we attempted to fabricate a new material that exhibits photo-switching piezoelectric properties. In order to utilize the merits of amorphous materials that can be deposited quickly, we started by building equipment specialized for the fabrication of organic amorphous superlattices. Using this equipment, we fabricated a p-type semiconductor/piezoelectric polymer/n-type semiconductor superlattice that responded to photoirradiation both electrically and mechanically.
